NATv exclusive: Ninoy Aquino's "Final Goodbye"An NATv exclusive, here is the recorded (and last) phone conversation between Ninoy Aquino and Mr. Steve Psinakis, a leading figure of the Anti-Marcos Movement for Free Philippines in the United States. In an article published at The Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) on August 20, 2008, veteran columnist and writer Amando Doronila shared to the reading public for the first time a transcript of the recorded phone conversation between Steve and Ninoy just moments before the latter boarded the plane in Los Angeles for his return to the Philippines. Later on, Steve, along with his wife Presy, appeared at Ricky Carandang's program "The Big Picture" on ANC where the valuable taped conversation was played for the first time on national TV. With this recorded conversation, we will be able to know more about Ninoys final preparations for his journey, some intelligence reports that he's well-aware of, and the impending danger that he's willing to face. For the sake of every Filipino who wants to gain access to information, particularly about history, we at NATv are sharing this taped conversation for everyone to hear.
