The book, which documents IBM's direct links to Hilter and his so-called 'Final Solution' by providing the Third Reich with census machines and punch card technology, caused IBM to issue a formal statement claiming that the Nazis controlled the operations of IBM Germany during the war. But Edwin's research shows that Thomas J. Watson, founder and president of IBM during the company's financial relationship with the Nazis, exercised more hands-on control of the operation than they care to admit. In his Guerrilla News directorial debut, Paul Shore interviews the author and deploys GNN's trademark design aesthetic in what is sure to be one of the most controversial documentaries about U.S. corporate complicity with the Nazi regime. Man & Computer - IBM 1965

The film Man & Computer, made in 1965 by IBM's UK branch, provides a basic understanding of computer operations. A large portion of the film shows the ways in which a computer can be simulated by five people using the standard office equipment of the day. The film employs a number of different techniques, including animations, and features a few brief scenes of an IBM System/360 in use—just months after the first machines were delivered. Starting in the 1940s, IBM became a major producer of films used for sales, training, documenting business processes, entertaining at company functions, and educating the public. Several IBM films were made by respected filmmakers and sometimes featured well-known actors.

The IBM clipped tag technology allows consumers to tear off the antenna of an RFID tag, thereby significantly reducing the tag's read range to just a few inches. This makes it extremely difficult to read tags within an individual's personal space without being noticeable. The clipped tag gives consumers the ability to simply "opt out" and protect their privacy. The chip, however, retains full functionality otherwise. This enhances consumer privacy while maintaining the benefits of the technology, such as product authentication or recalls.
