http://www.tvtrogir.hr/ Amfore sa sućuračkog Trstenika izronile na površinu Autor Jakov ŽArko (S.Dalmacija) Srijeda, 25 Listopad 2006 Ekipa sastavljena od arheologa i ronilaca Podvodno-istraživačkog kluba Mornar iz Splita jučer je na području sućuračkog Trstenika započela s vađenjem cjelovitih amfora. Izvađene su četiri amfore, koje će se nakon postupka desalinizacije prezentirati stanovnicima Kaštela u jednom od kaštelanskih izložbenih prostora (dvorac Vitturi, Kaštel Lukšić, i izložbeni prostor Podvorje, Kaštel Sućurac). Inače, dva najveća nalazišta ovakvih amfora su u Kaštel Sućurcu i na području splitskog Spinuta, gdje će idućih dana početi nova istraživanja, a kako nam je kazala voditeljica istraživačkog tima mr. se! Irena Radić-Rossi, amfore su se tijekom I., II. i III. stoljeća koristile za prijevoz maslinova ulja iz rimske provincije Hispanije. U njih je, kako su istaknuli podvodni istražitelji, moglo stati oko 75 litara ulja, a teške su između 30 i 35 kg. Nakon senzacionalnog otkrića broda iz antičkog doba i vađenja amfora, ovogodišnje istraživanje, koje financiraju Ministarstvo kulture RH i Grad Kaštela, privodi se kraju, a preostali nalazi, kako je potvrdila voditeljica Radić-Rossi, bit će zaštićeni na morskome dnu.

1.Nineveh Nineveh (Akkadian: Ninua; Aramaic: ܢܝܢܘܐ; Hebrew: נינוה, Nīnewē; Arabic: نينوى, Naīnuwa), an "exceeding great city", as it is called in the Book of Jonah, lay on the eastern bank of the Tigris in ancient Akkadia across the river from the modern-day major city of Mosul, Iraq. 2.Kish Kish (KIŠKI' cuneiform:?; Sumerian:kiš; Akkadian:?)is modern Tell al-Uhaymir, (Babil Governorate, Iraq), and was an ancient city of Sumer. Kish is located some 12 km east of Babylon, and 80 km south of Baghdad. 3.Nippur Nippur (URUEN.LIL ₗ⇸; Sumerian: Nibru; Akkadian: Nibbur), from the Sumerian for 'lord wind' (Enlil), is modern ? in Afak Al Qadisyah Governorate, Iraq. Nippur was one of the most ancient (some historians date it back to 5262 BCE) of all the Sumerian cities. The Arabs called the city Nimrud after Nimrod, a legendary hunting hero. 6.Uruk: Uruk (URUUNUG ⌷—, Sumerian: unug; Akkadian: uruk), from the Akkadian rendering of the Sumerian toponym 'unug', is modern Warka (Arabic: وركاء), Iraq. Uruk was an ancient city of Sumer and later Babylonia, situated east of the present bed of the Euphrates river, on the ancient Nil canal, some 30 km east of As-Samawah, Al-Muthannā, Iraq. The modern name Iraq is thought to be derived from the name Uruk. The scientific importance of the area is based on the discover of well preserved architectural remnants of the Post Roman and Byzantine period for which in older exchavations in athens there were not found satisfied information. Except the sequence of architectural phases particular importance has also the unique shape and the importance of the buildings that have be discovered. (as it's stated from the members of KAS (Central Archaeological Council) at their meeting (47 27/11/2000) The above architectural phases constitute an unquestionable exchibit of the long historical usage of Athens.
