We can now tell you the new album is called "Invaders Must Die" and will be released on The Prodigy's imprint, Take Me To The Hospital, through Cooking Vinyl, on March 2nd. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim all feature on the album, which is the first time since the release of Fat Of The Land in 1997. The patch I'm playing with is called Hard Ramp AS1&2. I made the background beat using FL Studio. PS. I've read some reviews of this vid as if I'm trying to be a "keytar" player (apparently not a desirable thing, but how can you not like Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein") and that I should just play a real guitar. LOL @ some of those same people who probably play guitar hero (nothing against it but hopefully you see my point)! The irony! The point is, folks, if you find a fun/inspiring sound to jam with, by all means, you should JAM WITH IT! I don't care if you find a $3.00 plastic trumpet. Don't worry about the technicalities and what people say. In the long run it's about the fun that YOU have making music. Thanks for watching!!!

I messed with it quite a bit before I filmed, but each time it came out drastically different. LOL I used FL Studio 8 and my Motif XS8 to make this one. The sound I'm using is actually an e-piano (patch is called "Drive EP AS1" on the Motif XS series. I adjusted the distortion and delay to make it sound like it is. The Hush Sound - Lions Roar

Matt and I decided long ago that we wanted to enter the 7th annual film festival held at Art Institute of Schaumburg called Artimation. Our goal was to make a stand that the Graphic Design majors could very well enter and compete in a very video & animation filled world. That said, we decided to do a typographical motion graphic piece to one of The Hush Sound's songs. We love the band, we love typography, we love design, and we love motion graphics. Heavily inspired by motion graphics studio MK12, we decided to try our shot at it. Keep in mind that this was our first ever After Effects project. We taught ourselves the application just to get a submission in. Four+ days straight went into this bad boy, with necessary 5:00am McDonald's Breakfast stops. In the end, we missed our deadline by several hours. To top it off, it's NOWHERE NEAR as polished off and finished as we want it to be. We plan on finishing this for sure. Next year, Artimation 8 will be our bitch. For now, enjoy this project.
